Board Meeting Schedule
The Board meets the 2nd Tuesday of every Month from 7:30-9:30 pm at the National Guard Armory on Skyline Drive. Meetings are open to all and we are always in need of new ideas, new energy, and folks willing to lend a hand to help make the League run better for ALL of us.

Board Structure and Open Positions
The WYSL Board of Directors is made up of 16 volunteers. 12 members of the board serve 2yr terms (6 positions are elected in the even yrs & 6 in the odd years) The 2 Parent Reps & 2 Community Reps are elected annually. Each board member has certain duties & responsibilities as outlined in either the By-Laws of the league or as established by the members of the board.
The final member of the board is the League President. The President serves a 2 yr team. He/She is elected at the December meeting of the board of directors in the even numbered years. He/She serves at the pleasure & direction of the board. He/She does not vote on items that come to the board except in cases of a tie vote. He/She is the spokesperson for the league & liasion with all associations that WYSL is a member of & is the primary contact with local municipal officals.

ElectionsAll Board of Director positions are voted on at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 3rd week in October.
Nominations for open positions must be turned into the League President by midnight, at least one week prior to AGM. They need to be in writing and email is acceptable. Please send emails to the following address: president@wysl.org
Nominees are encouraged to be in attendence at the AGM so that they can be introduced to the members prior to the election. | |
